Winter Sun Protection: That Certain Something
Miami Beach. San Juan. Rio. Fabulous, gorgeous vacation spots. But beware—the farther south you travel, the more intense the sun's rays. And you know what that means -- lots of sunscreen! But what works best? The best protection available is products with SPF of 70 or more. But SPF is only half the story. SPF measures sunburn caused by the sun's ultraviolet "burning" rays. There's another term you should look for: PFA, which measures protection against ultraviolet "aging" rays. Just like SPF, the higher the PFA, the more powerful the protection. So wherever you go to enjoy the sun and surf, when you choose sunscreen with the highest SPF and PFA protection, and you'll always have that certain something.
