Men's Thinning Hair: Tips and Tricks

What features do women find most attractive in men? Believe it or not, hair is not at the top of the list. Here are four tips to keep the man in your life from flipping out about losing his hair.

First, make sure he has the right cut. Keep thinning hair short and get it cut every three to four weeks. Hair will be healthier and appear fuller.

Second, keep it clean. Unwashed hair becomes dull and stringy because natural oils build up, weighing hair down. Choose volumizing shampoos and conditioners that contain glycerine. They help swell hair by retaining water, making it thicker and stronger.

Next, add color. Choose one that's a shade or two darker than your natural color. A deeper, richer tone adds depth and enhances your facial features. Plus, the scalp retains some of the hair color disguising areas that are thinning.

And finally, use a re-growth product. Choose one that contains Minoxidil which has been clinically proven to re-grow hair. Make sure you follow product directions carefully. Discontinuing the product will put an end to hair re-growth.
